DD3 announced that their DD3 MAXX Surf Life Saving Australia ( SLSA ) specification ( aka SPEC ) surfski has successfully gained full SLSA approval and certification.

Significant research and development was invested in the design, build and certification process and in the end that investment into the paddle sport industry has paid hansom dividends.

The DD3 MAXX has in fact now been successfully raced throughout the 2013 and 2014 SLAS racing event calendar over two subsequent seasons.

In particular one standout competitor, ironman Chris Allum, with support from DD3 paddle sports, competed with the DD3 MAX SLSA SPEC surfski.

Design highlights of the DD3 MAXX include:

  • a unique bow
  • exceptional lines
  • fast draining footfalls
  • rock solid stability
  • quick remount

These and many more design attributes make the DD3 MAXX surfski a perfect all round ski for general use, as well as in competition be it amateur or professional events, in all conditions.

For more info on the DD3 MAXX SPEC surfski, visit the DD3 website, or visit DD3 on Facebook.
